Configuration Diff for Release Control (Preview)

Release Control now gives you visibility into what's changing before you deploy. The new Configuration Diff preview shows which entities have been touched between your development and production environments.

What's New

Before promoting a release, you can now see:

  • Entity Overview - See which storages, blocks, listings, pages, feeds, and data types have been added, modified, or deleted.

  • Change Summary - Quick visibility into the scope of changes in each release.

  • Direct Links - Jump directly to affected resources to review their full configuration.

Coming Next

This is the first stage of our Configuration Diff feature. We're actively building:

  • Detailed Diffs - See exactly what changed within each entity, field by field.

  • Approval Flows - Define conditions that must be met before releasing (e.g., require sign-off for storage schema changes).

  • Change History - Track who changed what and when across release versions.

Why This Matters

Confidence in deployments starts with understanding what you're deploying. This preview lays the groundwork for comprehensive release management.
